an often thought thing by guys in my experience

whats the point in going on?
I've seen my hopes and dreams crash and burn right before my eyes
I've seen my heart ripped out right before me. . .
everything seemed so simple when you were there.
when you were right by my side
now all i see is a shadow of what used to be you.
It fades away each day were apart
i just wish i could erase it and make go away
maybe then the pain will go away and the tears will stop
maybe then ill be able to walk away with out looking back
and regretting everything i ever said and done
I always remember the nights you would long for me to come over just so you could sit in my arms
although it meant nothing to you
you would always say you missed me
even though we were apart for such a short time
but the worst way to miss someone,
is to have them sitting right next to you and you know you can never have them

Week 12 English assignment

Throughout my life I have always hated English class; It has always been such a drab and the stories have always bored me. However, this year I can't really say the same, as I've actually enjoyed English so much that for once that it's actually my favorite subject. I have actually learned to analyze stories or poems and I try to understand the meanings instead of just allowing it to go in one ear and out the other. The stories and poems were also interesting this year, I'd have to say i enjoyed Young Good men brown the most, probably cause it ties into witch craft and that's sort of interesting to me.

They both die in the end, they go their separate ways, what do these sentences remind you of? Perhaps a sad or bad ending? I've noticed that a lot of the short stories and poems seem to end in a sad ending. I mean it's not a bad thing but it is kinda like reading a emotional child's diary. As for essay i think I've taken a lot from this course. For one i actually think i understand how to write a thesis statement, so i guess the essay writing workshops were a huge help for me and being able to get a grade and then get it revised for a better grade is a great feature.

As for blogging in this course i actually think it's wicked, it brings something new to a course that were used to of just reading and writing over and over again. I really enjoyed this course and I've all ready told anyone taking English 1080 to get Mr. Parsons as a prof. Thank you for actually making the course fun and your a great teacher sir.

Flash Fiction

There was once a buy named Bob now was was your typical kid, he woke up every morning and went to school, he ate lunch with his friends during school, and played sports and video games like any normal boy would. But Bob has one serious problem, he is a horrible procrastinator, no procrastination is a famous thing is Bob's family his mother is known in nursing school for writing a 20,000 word term paper the day before it was due. His father on the other hand is a bit different and everything has to be done weeks before hand. I wonder where Bob gets his procrastination from?

So one day at school when Bob walked in and sat down next to his best friend Jim, now Jim was kinda mad at Bob for breaking his xbox controller the previous night. Everyone was buzzing around like it was the end of the world carrying around big pieces of bristol board, Now to Bob this alarmed him and he jumped up and asked his friend Jim "What the hell is going on?!?" "Geo project is due today man. Bet you forgot to do it again. Didn't you?" Jim replied in a smirk tone. "YES!!" Bob screamed back, he quickly rushed out of the class room and ran down to the art room and ripped a big piece of bristol board out of the holder and took off for the library. He quickly thought "what the hell are we doing in Geo? Land marks in China of course!" He quickly slabbed a bunch of pictures on the bristol board and information explaining them and ran back to class. 'Done!" he explained to Jim, "ya done" said Jim.

As the teacher walked in he says "Everyone we will be presenting your projects to the rest of class for everyone to see, Bob your up first." Bob jumped up grabbing his crappy project and laid it on the presenting stand. This is my project on China. "wait what? said the teacher "Bob what are you talking about China for?" your project was on why penguins don't live in the north pole." "Oh" said Bob. as he grabbed his project and sat down. Moral of the story is don't procrastinate and don't listen to your friend who you've previously broken his xbox.

Note to my Xbox

Dear Xbox controller,
You have always been there for me, morning day and night, throughout every waking second of the day your always ready for me. Always ready for me to press all your buttons, and play with your joy sticks. You never complain, never have i heard you protest when my fingers are greasy from chips, never have i heard you complain about how sweaty my hands get, and never have i heard you yell back at me when i flick you a hard as i can at the couch to take my anger out on some guy for killing me in battle field 3 (but i flick you at the couch not to break you). You are a true friend, even when the chips are down and im pressing every button like im trying to kill you, you still decide to work and not shut off on me. Even when the round is about to end you always hold on tell the menus to let our trusty batteries die. My dearest friend xbox controller you are a true trooper and i wouldn't want it any other way. Keep up the good work!
                                            Yours truly

life.

why bother?
people are always struggling to stand tall
but in the end it just keeps crashing down upon them
each time when you think you have your balance
Your grasp on everything
it just topples you over again
you see everything around you rise and fall
over and over again
a never ending cycle
you notice your might is only so strong
but dont worry.
your not the only one. . .
eventually the best of us crash and burn.
A lot of us realize
your limits can only take so much
and before you know it
your just a twisted wreck struggling to see the surface

Allegory

An allegory is a story told on two separate levels; metaphoric and literal levels. Both the Matrix and Plato's "Allegory of a cave" are told on both metaphoric and literal levels. Both of these videos and same and different to each other. Some similarities between the two is the fact in both stories are viewed on another totally different levels fantasy and reality. In the stories both character(s) are prisoners in there own world. Also both character(s) are made to accept the fact of what is real to them by the senses that is isolated to created there humanity. The differences being in the Allegory of a cave their world is the shadows created by passing bystanders and as in the matrix Neo's world is in a computer program called the matrix. The prisoners are forced to accept the fact that the shadows are what is real to them because that is all they have ever seen where as Neo has to deal with what ever is plugged into his mind. Both character(s) are kind of limited due to the fact the prisoners cannot turn around but only look at a wall where as Neo has never truly used his own eyes. I don't see much of a difference besides the way the story goes about where the one prisoner who is released goes back to tell his friends of his discoveries where Neo is finding out things for his own benefits.

the unnamed horrific event

We at the Important news place that let's people know about important news Feel as though this story is not for the faint of heart. If you reading this article and have heart problems of epilepsy strongly caution that you put this paper down and walk away from it. For what we are about to tell you will certainly make you cringe, get goose bumps, cold shivers and you may have the odd tendency to stand up and cover your  eyes turn counter clock wise while singing yanky doodle. If you've made it this far in the paper you are one of the brave ones, please know when you finish my thoughts are with you.

It all started in the small town of "please stop raining Newfoundland" now this town has always been known for it's great people and hospitality's around the globe. But since this drastic event i don't think it will ever be the same. We have heard rumors that dogs are walking people and cat's are running from mice. To what caused this problem well you the lucky reader are about to find out. Like i said small town blah blah blah BAM! It came out of no where from the north the south the east and the west. People were panicking and shoving sponges in there eyes so they did not see the loved ones around them get over taken by it. Yes i said the word the thing is the IT! Now we are not certain where it came from but from what we've heard it's possibly an off spring of chuck Norris and god. But something went wrong when chuck Norris decided to round house kick the diaper of It.

This caused it to turn well bad. In spite of the people efforts of this small town they were over run and changed to forever as we will know as the people that get walked by dogs. Now i know you are traumatized beyond belief and more then likely sick of singing yanky doodle.. But we ask you to please sit down and have a glass of prune juice and enjoy the rest of your day. From Important news place that let's people know about important news this is Adam Johnson wishing you all a nice reading of the rest of the paper.
